The Asian’s logo becomes ‘new’ again

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

imageChronicle art critic Kenneth Baker has a piece about the Asian Art Museum’s increased emphasis on branding that, unfortunately, bears this headline at SFGate: “New logo touts vision of S. F.’s Asian Art imageMuseum.” The second graph says it was rolled out in 2010. He may be right. But the museum produced this press release in September, 2011 to announce the “new” inverted ‘A’ logo.

Add: Not to be nitpicky about the Asian, which is a swell place, but at this rate you wonder when their PR people will announce Nixon’s return from China.
