Remember a few years ago before Al Gore’s San Francisco-based Current TV was hatched how critics said it would just be the ideological flipside to Fox News? Current proved them wrong—for a while, with lots of innovative programming that’s mostly gone by the wayside. Now, it’s about to add simulcast liberal radio talk shows as part of its daytime strategy—a la MSNBC, Media Decoder says.
