KQED’s Silicon Valley operation to downtown San Jose

Tuesday, March 27, 2012

KQED has moved its Silicon Valley offices from north San Jose to downtown, within walking distance of City Hall. Its new presence at 50 West San Fernando Street includes offices, multiplatform production facilities and a TV studio for KQED Plus, the re-branded former KTEH public station acquired by KQED in 2006.

Add: KQED Plus has one program under production in San Jose currently—”This is Us,” a weekly magazine show devoted mostly to profiles of South Bay personalities.
