  • More outrage over state Fish and Game Commission president Daniel Richards’ killing an Idaho mountain lion (and his trophy photo with it) after he writes a defiant letter to the Legislature. Chronicle 
  • All Nippon Airways postpones until early next year its launch of a San Jose to Tokyo route while it waits for delivery of more Boeing 787 Dreamliners. Mercury News
  • Audio tapes show dispatchers never alerted officers over the radio that Berkeley hills murder victim Peter Cukor needed help in the 15 minutes from when he called police about an intruder on a nonemergency number and his wife’s 911 call. Chronicle
