With his realigned East Bay congressional district likely more conservative than ever, you might think Rep. Pete Stark (D-Fremont) wouldn’t go out of his way to play up his reputation as Washington’s highest-ranking openly atheist politician. Not so. The video is of Stark over the weekend addressing the Reason Rally, an assemblage of atheists, humanists and non-believers in D. C.
