For someone whose political career appears six feet under already, Ross Mirkarimi sure elicits a lot of grave-stomping. The Chronicle has a Mirkarimi-at-the-crossroads piece on its Sunday Page 1 (it follows San Francisco magazine’s whither Mirkarimi tome). Both Matier & Ross and Willie Brown top their Chronicle columns with Mirkarimi ephemera. Add: M&R re-hash the events of New Year’s Eve with little that’s new. Brown speculates that, if push comes to shove, no one on the Board of Supervisors will support Mirkarimi in an election year.
