Warriors blown out 120-98 in Monta’s return

Friday, March 16, 2012

The only thing Warriors fans had to cheer during Monta Ellis’s return to Oracle as a Milwaukee Buck tonight was . . . Monta Ellis. And they did so often, with a standing ovation during introductions and another one just before tipoff when he went over to the Warriors bench and hugged his former teammates. Monta had 18 points, 4 assists and 4 rebounds in the debut with his new team. Epke Udoh didn’t score in 19 minutes.

Meanwhile, at the NCAA: Saint Mary’s suffered a last-minute 72-69 loss to Purdue after overcoming a huge deficit.
