Accused Oakland school killer formally charged

Wednesday, April 4, 2012

imageEx-nursing student One Goh (his first name is pronounced On-knee) was formally charged today with seven murders, three attempted murders and other crimes in connection with the Oikos University rampage. He appeared in an Oakland courtroom in a red jail jumpsuit with his hands shackled at the waist. He spoke only once, answering “yes” when asked by Judge Sandra Bean of Alameda County Superior Court if he was being charged under his true name. He did not enter a plea.

Add: Goh has been charged with committing the murders under special circumstances, which means he is eligible for the death penalty, if convicted. Chronicle
