Longtime KGO radio talk host Gene Burns, 71, who was purged in December along with others of the station’s stalwarts, blogs that he’s in his third month of recovery from a stroke, is undergoing speech therapy, and still hopes to resume his radio career. The message is posted on the website at NewsTalk910, which hired him in January. But the stroke intervened and he never made it on-air.
