It isn’t clear what damage the late painter Thomas Kinkade’s girlfriend, who lived with him the last year of his life and was with him when he died at home near Los Gatos three weeks ago, could do to his reputation. But apparently lawyers for the Kinkade estate are worried. They’ve obtained a 15-day restraining order against Amy Pinto-Walsh, painting her, so to speak, as a gold-digger out to harm the late Painter of Light’s reputation and cause harm to his widow and children, the Mercury News says.
Add: It was Pinto-Walsh who made the 911 call the morning of April 6, telling dispatchers that Kinkade, 54, had been drinking all night and wasn’t breathing.
