  • The Petaluma woman whose estranged husband gunned her down before killing himself outside her lawyer’s office had asked for and was denied a restraining order against him. Chronicle
  • State regulators upheld a $16.8 million fine against PG&E for failing to inspect gas leaks in the East Bay. Contra Costa Times
  • CVS Pharmacy agreed to pay $13.4 million to settle a lawsuit with California counties over its disposal of hypodermic needles and hazardous waste. SF Business Times
