MSNBC’s Al Sharpton, on-air as advocate for Trayvon Martin’s family

What’s wrong with this picture? When news broke this afternoon that George Zimmerman had been charged with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Florida teenager Trayvon Martin, the Rev. Al Sharpton would normally have been on-air hosting his MSNBC show “Politics Nation.” Instead, he was in Washington D.C., acting as an advocate for Martin’s family, applauding the bringing of criminal charges, TV Newser says.
