All-star guests plus ‘Just Gavin’ for Lite Gov’s new cable show

That’s quite a debut lineup for “The Gavin Newsom Show,” the lieutenant governor’s weekly hour-long public affairs gig premiering May 18 on Current TV. His first guests: cyclist Lance Armstrong and Google VP Marissa Mayer. And according to today’s press release, coming weeks will include filmmaker Oliver Stone, PayPal and Tesla Motors founder Elon Musk, former Washington D.C. schools chief Michelle Rhee and Skype CEO Tony Bates.

In addition, every episode will include a two – three minute segment entitled, “Just Gavin,” where Newsom will discuss his views on the issues of the day.
