Supervisor John Avalos now says he was just kidding Tuesday when he said he and his staff had consulted a Ouija Board to communicate with the late Harvey Milk. His remarks, during a Board of Supervisors meeting at which the supes voted 9-2 to support naming a Navy ship after the late gay rights activist, were widely reported in local media. But Avalos tells Joe Eskenazi at SF Weekly that he wasn’t serious.
