Bill Graham Civic Auditorium’s noisy war on the homeless

Its protected entry is a favorite nighttime haunt for the Civic Center’s abundant homeless population, so management is piping high-decibel sounds of chainsaws, jackhammers and even an aircraft carrier alarm to try and drive them away. The Chronicle’s Matier & Ross wrote about it yesterday. But for a flavor of how some of it sounds, there’s this unbranded video posted at NBC Bay Area.
