Correction of the day

NBC Bay Area’s new and much-promoted “investigative unit” aired a piece the other day about school bus safety focused on bus provider Durham in which it interviewed the man purported to be the company’s regional manager. It has since posted this correction to the bottom of the piece on the NBC Bay Area website:

CORRECTION:
*** In the initial posting of this story, the person that we identified as Durham's regional manager, Chuck Moore, was not in fact Mr. Moore, and we apologize for that error.
We would still like to talk to Mr. Moore but he has not returned our phone calls.
