For T.O., music stops in the Indoor Football League

As one of the leading NFL wide receiver divas of his time, the one-time 49er,  like him or not, was always good copy. And he remained so to the end—with the Allen, Texas, Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. Owens was let go after playing in eight of the team’s 11 games so far and after indicating that he didn’t plan to play in two upcoming road games with playoff implications. He’d also been a no-show at a team children’s hospital charity event. AP
