Is this the Star Wars director’s version of sticking it to the NIMBYs? The spurned director is, for now, at least, moving ahead with plans to build affordable housing on the old Grady Ranch property where he tried for years to build a digital arts production studio over neighbors’ objections. The Marin Foundation announced today that it’s working with Lucasfilm to “explore options” for the property that include senior and affordable housing, the Chronicle says.
