  • The Daily Cal’s Christopher Yee tweets from Albany that UC Police have moved Occupy protesters out of the so-called Gill Tract and took control of the property this morning.
  • Embattled Yahoo CEO Scott Thompson was fired Sunday, unable to withstand the firestorm after puffing his resume. Mercury News 
  • Mayor Ed Lee and the Board of Supervisors made official San Francisco’s desire to woo the Warriors away from Oakland. Chronicle
  • About 25 UC Berkeley protesters who stormed Sproul Hall Friday afternoon were removed from the building Saturday. Chronicle
  • Bay Area public schools are laying off fewer teachers than expected this year although many schools’ staffs are shrinking by attrition. Mercury News
