  • An assistant principal at San Jose’s Leland High School was formally charged with two felonies related to the suspected molestation of a teenage girl. Mercury News
  • Amid protests over fee hikes, UC’s regents meeting in Sacramento approved a $411,084 pay package for UC San Diego’s incoming chancellor, nearly 5% more than the outgoing chancellor is earning. Chronicle 
  • San Francisco Beautiful filed a lawsuit claiming the city isn’t enforcing a voter-approved law banning new billboards on private property. The Bay Citizen
