  • A new USC/LA Times poll shows most California voters do not approve legalizing marijuana for general or recreational use by adults. LA Times
  • Terry Grimm, who with his wife Roseann, owns the Castro’s Anchor Oyster Bar, was chosen to run the concession stand at Coit Tower. Chronicle
  • Former Contra Costa sex crimes prosecutor Michael Gressett filed a lawsuit alleging defamation and malicious prosecution in his 2008 arrest and trial on charges that he raped a young female colleague during a lunch break. Contra Costa Times
  • Jim Harbaugh now says the 49ers were merely “evaluating” Peyton Manning, not pursuing him before the future Hall of Famer chose to play for Denver. Mercury News
  • Relief time for Warriors fans: the team landed the No. 7 pick in next week’s NBA draft lottery and will get to keep their first-round draft pick this season. Mercury News
