  • Rep. Nancy Pelosi criticized the Obama administration’s crackdown on marijuana dispensaries. Chronicle
  • Clorox CEO Don Knauss says Oakland business leaders are willing to work with A’s owner Lew Wolff to keep the team in town, and if not other investors are willing to buy the franchise. Oakland Tribune
  • San Francisco DA George Gascon says he’ll bring charges against five of the 26 Occupy protesters arrested during the takeover of a Turk Street building owned by the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Chronicle
  • Moody’s, the ratings agency, applauded a University of California proposal to let each campus set its own tuition rates. Capitol Alert
  • An assistant principal at San Jose’s Leland High School was arrested after being accused of having unlawful sexual contact with a minor, and two other top administrators were placed on leave pending an investigation. Mercury News
