  • San Francisco DA George Gascon says he’ll bring charges against five of the 26 Occupy protesters arrested during the takeover of a Turk Street building owned by the Archdiocese of San Francisco. Chronicle
  • Moody’s, the ratings agency, applauded a University of California proposal to let each campus set its own tuition rates. Capitol Alert
  • An assistant principal at San Jose’s Leland High School was arrested after being accused of having unlawful sexual contact with a minor, and two other top administrators were placed on leave pending an investigation. Mercury News
