Pay-to-play comes to Letters to the Editor

The folks at the Santa Clarita Valley Signal (Los 
Angeles County) have apparently had enough of letters to the editor written by campaign hacks and dressed up as opinion. So henceforth they’re reserving special pages for letters that endorse candidates and will charge 10 cents a word. [Hat tip: Jim Romenesko]
