Turns out there’s more to mine from Rep. Pete Stark’s gaffe-marked visit to the Chronicle editorial board the other day than his out-of-nowhere and erroneous declaration that one of the columnists in the room had contributed to his Democratic challenger. The Chron’s Carla Marinucci posted a video clip from the session (which no longer seems to be up )in which the 80-year-old Fremont Democrat, who’s served 20 terms, confuses Fremont-based solar energy firm Solyndra with Tesla, the electric car maker. In fairness, no one spoke up and said, “Don’t you mean Tesla?”
