Young artist looks for lost subject—a stranger at Costco

Budding artist Sam Bauman, 18, was at a Costco in San Jose back in February and asked an elderly stranger whose face intrigued him to pose. But he didn’t get the man’s name. Now he’s trying to find him. Turns out the drawing won a congressional art contest and Bauman wants his subject along at the awards ceremony. Mercury News
