Count columnist Tammerlin Drummond among the happy campers over the Oakland Tribune’s move back downtown from its five-year sojourn in an industrial park near the airport. She refers to the newspaper’s 9th floor abode in a building overlooking the Coliseum and 880 freeway as “the journalistic equivalent of Siberia.” On top of that, “unless you went downstairs to the building cafeteria, you had to walk 20 minutes to get lunch.”
