One takeaway from yesterday’s primary: voters expressed exasperation with public pension plans that they view as out of control. San Jose Mayor Chuck Reid’s much-watched pension reform measure, Measure B, won voter approval, as did a similar measure in San Diego. In San Jose, unions have called an 11 a.m. presser to announce they will challenge Measure B in the courts.
