Hacker claims to have compromised LinkedIn passwords

Trouble at Mountain View-based LinkedIn. A hacker claims to have compromised the professional networking service’s passwords. In all, 6.5 million of them are said to have been posted to a Russian Web Forum, the Mercury News says. The company tweets early this morning:
"Our team is currently looking into reports of stolen passwords. Stay tuned for more."
