Lots of Hollywood-style hubbub this week at the house in Los Altos where Steve Jobs lived with his parents when he and Steve Wozniak started Apple in the garage. “Jobs,” the indie film with Ashton Kutcher in the lead role, began filming there yesterday. The Mercury News says there were plenty of looky-loos hoping to catch a glimpse of Kutcher, who could be seen gliding around the old Jobs family tract home (where the Apple co-founder’s step-mother still lives) in scruffy beard, floppy cowboy hat and torn jeans. (The photo is of the real Steve Jobs in front of the garage in the 1970s.)
Noted: The film is being shot in 31 days for likely release in the fall. It isn’t to be confused with the Sony Pictures film under development to bring “Steve Jobs,” the Walter Isaacson biography, to life.
