In the Chronicle, Valentines for Pelosi

Sunday, June 3, 2012

The national political media may at times rough her up, but House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi can almost always count on her hometown newspaper for a little love. This past week the Chronicle served up a nice Valentine commemorating Pelosi’s 25 years in Congress.  And today another one: “Nancy Pelosi skilled in art of political warfare.” The news fig leaf: to record her reaction to something Chronicle columnist Willie Brown wrote.

Add: Brown observed as how President Obama appears to be “losing his mojo” by spending too much energy collecting money from the wealthy while neglecting the 99 percent. As if we couldn’t guess, Pelosi disagrees.
