Jerry Brown’s cuts before signing the budget last night

Gov. Jerry Brown signed California’s $91.3 billion budget into law late last night, but not before using his blue pencil at the last minute to veto $129 million in spending he didn’t like. Among the cuts: $22.6 million more to financial aid for college students and $20 million for state child-care programs. PolitiCal; Capitol Alert
