Kepler’s to close Sunday, reopen by Labor Day

The iconic Menlo Park book store is calling its temporary closing a “reboot,” and says it hopes to reopen by Labor Day after a renovation. The store launched a public fundraising drive earlier this year to help keep its doors open. It plans to operate the for-profit bookstore alongside a non-profit cultural center. Its video explains it.
