Thursday, June 14, 2012

They’ve announced the Edward R. Murrow awards for 2012 and a couple of Bay Area news outlets are among the national winners. KTVU 2’s 10 o’clock news wins for video newscast for its Feb. 13 coverage of the Occupy Oakland unrest. On the radio side, KCBS AM/FM wins the coveted national Murrow for overall excellence among large market stations. The awards will be presented in New York in October. You can access video and sound clips of all the winners at the Radio Television Digital News Association website.
