There’s isn’t much that KQED’s Cy Musiker doesn’t like about the opera in three acts by Berkeley’s John Adams, produced by Vancouver Opera and performed at SF Opera through July 3. Alice Goodman’s libretto gets raves. So does baritone Brian Mulligan, who has the Nixon role, and who Musiker says “gets Nixon’s stacatto speech and stiff mannerisms right, without the smarm.” You can read the review.
