Pat Brown documentary arrives on KQED’s air

Monday, June 25, 2012

By her acknowledgement, Sascha Rice’s documentary on former Gov. Pat Brown’s legacy (airing tonight at 9 on KQED) isn’t intended as objective political analysis. But the 90-minute film directed by the late governor’s granddaughter is required viewing for anyone interested in the man many view as the primogenitor of modern California. A veritable who’s who of Bay Area political figures get face time. There’s more at KQED, which has a trailer. And here’s a Sac Bee piece about the film, which has been on the festival circuit for months.
