By her acknowledgement, Sascha Rice’s documentary on former Gov. Pat Brown’s legacy (airing tonight at 9 on KQED) isn’t intended as objective political analysis. But the 90-minute film directed by the late governor’s granddaughter is required viewing for anyone interested in the man many view as the primogenitor of modern California.
