Long a staple of the Sonoma-Marin fair, today’s ugliest dog contest winner to be crowned on the Kiwanis Stage at the Petaluma fairgrounds is assured an international audience. Camera crews from Germany, Brazil, the UK, China and other countries have descended on the place for the 4:30 p.m. event, says the Santa Rosa Press-Democrat. That doesn’t include two documentary film crews. They don't call it the World’s Ugliest Dog Contest for nothing.
