How’s this for strange bedfellows? Conservative Hayward businessman and Tea Party sympathizer Chris Pareja has endorsed liberal 20-term congressman Pete Stark, 80, in November. But according to what he tells the Mercury News’ Political Blotter blog, Pareja, who finished third in the primary, appears more interested in dissing moderate Democrat Eric Swalwell, Stark’s November challenger. Go figure.
