He’s back, two weeks after his last campaign trip to the Bay Area to hit up wealthy donors. And if even hardened political types are beginning to tire of the President’s (too frequent?) money trips, at least there’s this to fall back on: Which fawning local politician will rate the best “tarmac time” this week?
Add: Tomorrow’s events include an appearance at the Merchants Exchange building on California Street where the First Lady already held a fundraiser last year. “Table captains” are forking over $50,000 apiece. It’s sold out. After that, another “roundtable” for big donors at the Landmark at One Market Plaza.
