Thursday, June 7, 2012

Dramatic testimony today in the Los Angeles trial preliminary hearing for the two men accused of brutally beating Giants fan Bryan Stow in the Dodger Stadium parking lot on opening day 2011. A prosecution witness became the first during the five days of proceedings to identify one of the defendants as an assailant. Mary Dolores Donley said she saw defendant Louie Sanchez, 30, (pictured) kicking Stow and Stow’s head hit the pavement after which she said Sanchez stood over the unconscious Stow, kicking him in the head. Demian Bulwa is covering the hearing for the Chronicle.
