49ers’ Aldon Smith stabbed at party; 2 people shot

Five months after his DUI arrest in Florida, the 49ers linebacker is making unflattering headlines again, this time as a stabbing victim at a chaotic Friday night house party near San Jose in which two people were shot. Neither Smith nor the shooting victims were believed to have life-threatening injuries. The 49ers released a statement saying that last year’s rookie sensation was “recovering comfortably.” Officers described a chaotic scene with about 100 people present, with lots of alcohol involved.
