Armistead Maupin’s house hits the market; he tries to stay cool from afar

Back on Cape Cod for part of the summer before he and his husband relocate to Santa Fe, Armistead Maupin appears to be struggling with the East Coast heat. He posts this to Facebook: “C'mon P-town, give us that cooling thunderstorm! It's Girl Splash week, so splash away, girl!”

Meanwhile, the “Tales of the City” author’s Parnassus Heights house on Belmont Avenue has hit the market, at just under $1.2 million, SocketSite says.
