Marin Symphony hires a new chief executive

He’s Jeff Vom Saal, 33, director of the Quad City Symphony Orchestra in Davenport, Iowa. The 60-year-old Marin Symphony, which presents five pairs of classical concerts annually at San Rafael’s Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium under music director Alasdair Neale, has had an interim executive director since Noralee Monestere resigned in April.
