Not enough evidence to charge the Giants third baseman with raping a woman at a hotel near Santa Cruz last month. That’s the conclusion of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Department, which investigated the woman’s complaint and announced its conclusion today. It goes to the DA for review. Chronicle
