Staff-depleted newspapers have increasingly taken to triaging their obituaries, getting to them
as soon as they can. One must presume that’s the case for the obituary that appears today in the Chronicle for former Olympic swim champion and lifelong Bay Area resident Ann Curtis Cuneo, who died June 26. Better late than never. As for the Marin IJ, its Curtis Cuneo obit published July 4.
