About Greg Suhr’s $321,000 SFPD pay

Monday, August 27, 2012

If Sunday’s lede item from the Chronicle’s Matier & Ross about SFPD chief Greg Suhr being the highest-paid police chief in America seemed familiar . . . then you probably saw it reported last Wednesday by SF Public Press.

Noted: While the Chronicle columnists accurately point out that Suhr earns more than the Los Angeles police chief, they get carried away a bit describing LA’s population as 10 times that of San Francisco’s. SF has about 805,000 residents; the city of Los Angeles 3.8 million.
