After Chevron fire, Richmond Museum cancels reception for refinery exhibit

Lost in the shuffle after Monday night’s Chevron refinery fire: The Richmond Museum of History canceled a scheduled reception Tuesday for its newest exhibit . . . celebrating the history of the refinery. The museum issued this statement:
"We regret to inform you that the opening reception for the new exhibit, 'Other Days, Other Ways: A Refinery Saga,' to be held today, August 7th, 2012, HAS BEEN CANCELED AND POSTPONED until further notice.
