From the political-correctness-probably-demands-you-shouldn’t-be-surprised-by-this department: Former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is lending his name to USC for a new policy think tank. It’s to be called the USC Schwarzenegger Institute for State and Global Policy.
Not only that, but as part of the deal, Schwarzenegger will hold an endowed chair as a USC prof. So that means it’s now Professor Schwarzenegger. Or as USC’s president points out (see video after jump), since he holds an honorary doctorate from the school, he may also be referred to as Doctor Schwarzenegger.
Among the think tank’s advisors: ex-San Antonio mayor Henry Cisneros and ex-Secretary of State (and San Francisco social swell) George Schultz. Read the USC press release.
