Berkeley Patients Group, the large medical marijuana dispensary that was evicted from the
2300 block of San Pablo Avenue last year after the feds threatened to come down on the landlord because it was within 600 feet of a couple of schools, is reopening elsewhere. The Oakland Tribune says the Berkeley pot shop plans to open down the street in the 2700 block, just over 1,000 feet from Rosa Parks Elementary and Nia House Learning Center. But reporter Doug Oakley says that the owners aren’t ready to go public about their plans.
