Mota’s 100-game drug suspension is up; he re-joins Giants

The revolving doper door swings the other direction for the Giants, who’ve activated reliever Guillermo Mota and demoted Jeremy Affeldt (paternity leave) now that Mota’s 100-game drug suspension has been served. The Chronicle’s John Shea says that in the wake of the Melky Cabrera scandal, the club decided that the need for Mota outweighed any negativity. The Splash
