It’s four strikes and out for Tu Lan, the popular hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant on Sixth Street south of Market Street famous for cheap eats and infamous for mice and cockroaches. The health department revoked the eatery’s license yesterday, shutting it down permanently while rejecting owner Anthony Nguyen’s promises to do better.
The eatery had been shuttered temporarily three other times within the last year and a half for health violations before the health department closed it again last month. Chronicle
